Take-A-Break Tea

2 cups water boiling
2 tea bags
1 (12-ounce) can apricot nectar
2 to 3 tablespoons sugar
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon almond extract


In a teapot or small heatproof bowl, pour boiling water over tea bags cover and let stand for 5 minutes. Remove tea bags and discard.

Meanwhile, in a medium saucepan, combine apricot nectar, sugar and lemon juice. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Add tea and heat through. Remove from heat.

Stir in almond extract. Serve hot in mugs.
