Pesto Sauce

1/3 cup basil fresh basil leaves, tightly packed, or 1 1/2 tablespoons dried basil leaves
1/4 cup parsley fresh, tightly packed
1 tomato medium, quartered and seeded
3 cloves garlic crushed
1/4 cup Parmesan cheese grated
1/4 cup olive oil


Place basil, parsley, tomato, and garlic in a blender container. Cover and blend until almost smooth. Add Parmesan cheese cover and process until blended. With motor running, slowly add olive oil through opening in lid until mixture is well blended and thick, scraping sides of container as needed.
