Herb Bread

1 loaf French bread
1 cup butter or margarine, softened
2 tablespoons green onions finely chopped
2 tablespoons olives finely chopped
2 tablespoons parsley finely chopped fresh
1 teaspoon basil dried, crushed
1/2 teaspoon thyme dried, crushed
1/2 teaspoon marjoram dried, crushed
1/2 teaspoon tarragon dried, crushed


Slice French bread diagonally almost through to bottom crust. Blend softened butter or margarine with remaining ingredients combine well. Spread cut surfaces of slices with mixture. Wrap loaf in heavy foil. Place on baking sheet and heat at 350° for 15 to 20 minutes. Serve hot.
