Easy Shrimp Newburg

1/2 cup green onion, sliced
1 tablespoon butter
1 (10-ounce) can cream of shrimp soup
1 cup sour cream dairy
1/2 pound frozen shrimp baby, fresh or frozen


In medium saucepan cook onion in butter (or margarine) until soft. Stir in soup, sour cream, and shrimp (two 4 1/2-ounce cans small deveined shrimp may be substituted for fresh). Barely heat through, stirring constantly. Serve immediately in pastry shells, puff paste shells, or cooked rice.
