Crystallized Rose Petals And Mint Leaves

Ingredients

You will Need:
fresh small rose petals
fresh mint fresh
1 egg white
granulated sugar
pastry brush or clean artist's brush

Directions:

Instructions:

Rinse rose petals and mint leaves or sprigs. Pat dry with paper towels. In a small bowl with a fork, slightly beat egg white. Using a small brush, brush each petal or leaf with egg white, coating completely. Place on waxed paper. Immediately sprinkle both sides of petal or leaf lightly with sugar. Let dry on the waxed paper for 2 or 3 days. Store in an airtight container in a cool place up to 6 weeks. Use as a decoration on ice cream, cake and other desserts of your choice.
