Cinnamon Swirl Loaf

1 cup sugar
4 teaspoons cinnamon ground


* (Use ingredients for White Yeast Bread for the base and follow instructions through "roll each portion into rectangle, 14 x 7 inches". For 4 loaves use: Combine sugar and cinnamon and set aside. On to each 14 x 7 inch rectangle of dough spread 1/4 sugar mixture. Roll dough up as for jelly roll, beginning with narrow side. Seal long edge and ends. Place, sealed edges down, in greased 8 1/2 x 4 1/2 x 2 1/2 -inch loaf pan. Repeat for other loaves. Cover and let rise in warm place until almost double in bulk (about 45 minutes). Bake at 375° until done, 35 to 40 minutes. If crusts brown too quickly, cover with foil last 15 minutes of baking. Remove bread from pans and cool on wire racks.
