Chilled Nectarine Dessert


Serves: 4

Ingredients

3 or 4 nectarines or peaches, cut up (2 cups)
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 cup vanilla yogurt (8 oz.) or honey-flavored yogurt
1/4 cup almonds sliced or chopped pecans

Directions:

In a medium bowl, toss nectarines and brown sugar. Refrigerate 30 minutes or until chilled.

Spoon into four small dessert dishes. Top each with yogurt. Sprinkle with almonds.


Serve with small sugar cookies after a hearty entrée such as Mustard-Glazed Mixed Grill with Light Potato Salad
