Baked Cinnamon Apples


Serves: 4

Ingredients

4 apples McIntosh or other tart cooking apples, cored
1 cup water
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 teaspoon cinnamon ground
1/2 cup fructose

Directions:

Pare top 1/3 of each apple arrange in a small baking dish. In a saucepan, bring to boil water, vanilla, cinnamon, and fructose cook 10 minutes. Pour over apples and bake in a preheated 350° F oven for 1 hour or until tender baste frequently during cooking. Let cool in sauce and serve warm or cold.
