Dutch Peach Pie

Ingredients

FILLING:
1 egg
1/2 cup Borden Eagle Brand Sweetened Condensed Milk
2 teaspoons flour
1 tablespoon melted butter
3 1/2 cups sliced peaches or apples, well drained
STREUSEL:
3/4 cup all purpose flour
1/2 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
6 tablespoons butter, chilled
1/4 cup chopped nuts
1 9" unbaked puff pastry shell

Directions:

Preheat oven to 425°F. In a mixer, beat egg, add milk, 2 tsp. flour and melted butter; mix until smooth. Set aside.

In a mixer bowl, using a pastry cutter, mix flour and sugar for streusel. Mix in or cut in butter only until crumbly. Stir in nuts, set aside.

Arrange fruit in pie shell. Pour filling over fruit. Top with streusel. Bake 10 minutes, then reduce heat to 375°F and bake 25 minutes more.

Serve warm or at room temperature. Serves 6 to 8
