Grandma's Chicken Potpie

Ingredients

2 cups frozen mixed vegetables (Normandy or California blend)
1 1/2 cups cubed cooked chicken
2 (10 3/4-ounce) cans cream of chicken soup condensed
3/4 cup milk
1/2 teaspoon thyme or rosemary
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 (10-ounce) can refrigerated biscuit

Directions:

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

Cook and cut vegetables into bite-size pieces.

In a greased 3-quart baking dish, combine all ingredients except biscuits. Bake, uncovered, 15minutes, then remove from oven and stir. Quickly cut biscuits in half. Place biscuit halves, cut side down, over hot chicken and vegetable mixture. Bake 15–20 minutes more, or until biscuits are golden brown and done in the center. Makes 5–7 servings.
