Rub lamb chops with lemon juice.
In a small bowl, thoroughly mix garlic and oil and liberally coat the lamb chops. Put chops in a nonreactive dish; add thyme, rosemary, salt, and pepper. Cover and refrigerate for 2 hours.
Broil lamb chops in a broiler pan, about 4 inches from the fl ame, for 3–4 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or 4–5 minutes on each side for well done.
