_ boneless skinless chicken breast halves
_ tablespoons butter or margarine
___ teaspoon salt
_ tablespoons maple-flavored syrup
___ cup pecan halves
1. Flatten chicken breasts to 1/4-inch thick between plastic wrap or waxed paper (see ALL ABOUT CHICKEN, 04-How to Flatten Chicken Breasts).
2. Melt 2 tablespoon butter or margarine with 1/2 teaspoon salt in 12-inch nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add chicken and brown on each side.
3. Add 2 tablespoons maple-flavored syrup and 1/2 cup pecan halves. Cook about 8 minutes; turning chicken once, or until chicken is no longer pink in center and stirring pecans once or twice.
