Steamed Salmon with Tarragon and Lemon


Serves: 5

Ingredients

2 salmon steaks or filets (6 ounces each)
2 large fresh tarragon branches with leaves
1 tablespoon tarragon leaves chopped for garnish
1 sliced lemon
1 quartered lemon
tartar sauce, optional

Directions:

1. Wash and pat salmon dry.
2. Place in one section of a steamer and cover with tarragon branches and lemon slices.
3. Steam for approximately 20 minutes until fish flakes but no raw, pink flesh remains. 4. Remove and discard tarragon and lemon.

NOTE: Top each salmon steak with ½ tablespoon fresh chopped tarragon and serve with fresh lemon wedges.
NOTE: If desired, add 1 teaspoon of tartar sauce per serving of salmon.
