Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients

1/2 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
1/2 cup sugar
1 egg, beaten
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup plus 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 cup chopped nuts
1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Directions:

Blend together butter and sugars until creamy. Beat in egg and vanilla; set aside. Combine flour, salt and baking soda; mix well and stir into butter mixture. Fold in nuts and chocolate chips. Drop by teaspoonfuls, 2 inches apart, on greased baking sheets. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 minutes, or until golden.
