Salad for Dessert?

By Sydney Hill

This jello salad is probably technically a side, but I think it's good enough to fit in a dessert category. It seems really simple (that's part of the greatness, right?), but it has a unique flavor as the ingredients blend together. Make it for your lunch, dinner...or dessert.

Pistachio Jello Salad

Serving size: 3
Calories per serving: 392

Ingredients:
1 (3.4-ounce) package pistachio pudding mix
2 cups cold milk
1 (8-ounce) container whipped topping
1 can mandarin orange
1 can crushed pineapple
1 package (small) store-bought fudge-striped cookies (option)

Directions:
Mix pudding box according to directions. Fold in whipped topping, oranges, pineapple, and cookies (a great addition if you decide to do that). Chill and serve.
