Ham and Swiss Oven-Toasted Deli Sandwich
Dovetailing Tip: Using the homemade whole wheat bread you made for Meal 1 makes these sandwiches even better.
|1/4 cup||real mayonnaise|
|4 teaspoons||dijon mustard|
|24 slices||deli smoked ham|
|1||large tomato, cut into 8 thin slices|
|4 slices||Swiss cheese slices|
1. Preheat oven to 425Â°F. Spread bread slices evenly with mayo. Place 4 of the bread slices, mayo-sides down, on greased baking sheet; spread tops with mustard.
2. Cover each with 6 ham slices, 2 tomato slices and 1 cheese slice. Top with remaining 4 bread slices, mayo-sides up.
3. Bake 12 to 13 min. or until golden brown on both sides, turning over after 6 min.
