This cookbook features lots of seafood recipes and some awesome Amish recipes too.

101 Farmhouse Favorites by Gooseberry Patch

This book is full of great recipes and is separated into the following chapters; Break of Day Breakfasts, Garden-Fresh Soups & Salads, Family Dinner Favorites, Blue-Ribbon Desserts, Classic Country Canning making it easy to find something great to make!

Awesome recipes like Country Ham Biscuits, Easy Bacon Fritatta, Chicken & Wild Rice Soup, Best Ever Spinach Salad (with a cider vinegar/sugar/mustard dressing), Lighter than Air Potato Rolls (made with baking mix and potato flakes), or Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings. I can’t wait to try some Cinnamon Poached Pears. Something unique about this cookbook, that I love, is that there is a canning section! Pickled eggs, Peach butter and Corn Cob Jelly are all winners from the Classic Canning Chapter.

These recipes will make you feel like you are back in your grandma’s kitchen, I don’t know many things better than that (unless your grandma wasn’t a good cook, and even then..)
