Ingredients

1 cup vanilla cream natural soda pop
1 cup dairy or dairy free ice cream in a compatible flavor (vanilla, butter pecan, caramel, etc)
1/4 cup real maple syrup
1/3 cup shelled pecans
1 cup ice

Directions:

Blend well and serve in a tall, frosted mug, perhaps garnished with a dollop of dairy or vegan whipped cream and a cinnamon stick. Enjoy!

VARIATIONS
Sometimes I like to add a handful of granola to the blender or sprinkle it on top as a crunchy garnish.
Substitute milk or yogurt (dairy or dairy-free) or coconut milk for the ice cream.
Add a dash of natural butterscotch or caramel flavor.
Substitute walnuts for the pecans.
Add a couple of frozen bananas, if you like.
