Butterscotch Shake


Serves: 2

Ingredients

2 cups dairy or dairy free vanilla ice cream or yogurt
1 cup dairy or dairy free milk or buttermilk
1/2 teaspoon natural butterscotch or caramel flavoring
1 tablespoon rice or maple syrup or Barbardos molasses (optional)

Directions:

Place all the ingredients into a blender, and blend until smooth and creamy. Serve in a frosted glass with dairy or dairy-free whipped cream and a spoon.

TIP: If you can’t find natural butterscotch or caramel flavoring, lightly brown 2 tablespoons granulated sugar cane juice in 1 tablespoon butter or oil, and mix with a drop of vanilla.
