Chicken in a Bag

Ingredients

1 cup long grain converted rice uncooked
1 (10 3/4-ounce) can cream of chicken soup condensed
1 1/2 cups water
4 to 6 chicken breasts cut into bite size pieces
1 envelope onion soup mix

Directions:

Combine rice, cream of chicken soup, and water in greased 3 to 5-quart slow cooker; stir well.

Place chicken breasts in a see-through roasting bag and add onion soup mix. Shake bag to coat chicken. Puncture 4~6 holes in top of bag. Fold top of bag over chicken and place in slow cooker on top of rice mixture. Cover and cook on high heat4~5 hours or on low heat 8-10 hours. Remove chicken breasts to warm platter. Serve with rice from cooker. Makes 4~6 servings.

Serve with potato wedges sprinkled with parmesan cheese.
