The Yogi’s Banana Bread

Ingredients

1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup butter, softened
2 eggs
3 or 4 ripe bananas
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon cloves
1 teaspoon nutmeg
1 cup frozen blueberries
1 cup chopped cashew nuts

Directions:

Mix brown sugar, butter, eggs, and bananas in food processor. Add flour, baking powder, salt, baking soda, cinnamon, cloves, and nutmeg; blend thoroughly. Add blueberries and cashews, and blend very lightly. Bake in well-greased loaf pan at 325° for about 1 hour. Test with a knife to see if it’s done in the middle. Remove from pan and set on wire rack to cool. Slice and serve.
