Dixie’s Buttermilk Pie

Ingredients

1 (9-inch) unbaked pie shell
1 1/2 cups sugar
3 tablespoons flour
2 eggs, well beaten
1/2 cup butter, melted
1 cup buttermilk
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 teaspoon lemon extract

Directions:

Combine sugar and flour; stir in eggs. Add melted butter and buttermilk; mix well. Stir in vanilla and lemon extract. Pour into chilled pie shell and bake at 425° for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 350° and bake 35 additional minutes.
