Christmas Nut Crunch

Ingredients

1/2 cup butter, melted
2 cups graham cracker crumbs
2 (3 1/2-ounce) packages instant vanilla pudding
2 cups milk
1 quart butter pecan or pralines and cream ice cream, softened
1 (8-ounce) container Cool Whip
2 candy bars, crushed (Heath, Krackel, or anything crunchy)

Directions:

In a bowl, combine melted butter and crumbs. Mold in the bottom of a 9x13-inch cake pan or 2 pie tins. In large bowl, beat pudding mixes and milk. Blend well and fold in the ice cream. Fold in Cool Whip, then pour into crust. Sprinkle with crushed candy bars. Freeze for one hour or more and serve when ready.

Variation: You may substitute crushed candy bars with chopped nuts, crushed frosted flakes, or use your imagination.
