Italian Ground Turkey Sandwiches

Ingredients

2 1/2 pounds lean ground turkey or beef
1 medium onion, chopped (1/2 cup)
2 teaspoons finely chopped garlic
1 (48-ounce) jar chunky garden vegetable pasta sauce
1 (6-ounce) can tomato paste
1 can (3.8 ounces) sliced ripe olives, drained
12 french rolls (6 inches), split
6 slices (1 ounce each) mozzarella cheese, cut in half

Directions:

1. Spray 12-inch nonstick skillet with cooking spray heat over medium-high heat. Cook turkey, onion and garlic in skillet about 8 minutes, stirring frequently, until turkey is no longer pink drain.
2. Mix turkey mixture, pasta sauce, tomato paste and olives in
3 1/2- to 4-quart slow cooker.
3. Cover and cook on low heat setting 4 to 5 hours.
4. Fill each roll with 1/2 cup turkey mixture and half slice of cheese, cutting to fit.
