Pecan Pie Cake

Ingredients

3 eggs, divided
1 (18 1/4-ounce) box yellow cake mix
1/2 cup butter, softened
1 (1-pound) box powdered sugar
1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup (or more) coarsely chopped pecans

Directions:

Mix 1 egg, cake mix, and butter together. Pat in bottom of a greased, 9x13-inch baking pan. Mix 2 eggs, powdered sugar, cream cheese, vanilla, and pecans together, and cover the cake mixture completely. Bake 1 hour and 15 minutes at 350°. Cut into squares. Serve hot or cold.

Note: Keep a check on the color. When it starts turning brown, it is done.
