Ingredients

First Layer:
1/2 cup butter
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup baking cocoa
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 egg
2 cups graham cracker crumbs or vanilla wafer crumbs
1 cup flaked coconut

Second Layer:
1 (3-ounce) package instant vanilla pudding
1/2 cup butter, softened
3 tablespoons milk
2 cups sifted powdered sugar
1 (6-ounce) package milk chocolate chips

Directions:

For First Layer:
Mix butter, sugar, cocoa, and vanilla in double boiler and cook until butter melts. Beat egg slightly and stir into mixture. Boil until thick. Add graham cracker crumbs (or vanilla wafer crumbs) and coconut. Pour into a buttered 9x9-inch pan.

For Second Layer:
Beat first 4 ingredients together and pour over First Layer. Cool until firm. Melt chocolate chips and spread over top. Cut into pieces when firm, but not hard.
