Can’t-Eat-One Bacon Swirls

Ingredients

6 slices bacon, crisply cooked and crumbled
1 (4-ounce) can mushrooms, drained and chopped
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 (8-ounce) tube refrigerated crescent rolls
2 (3-ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
1 egg white, beaten
Garnish: poppy seed

Directions:

Mix together bacon, mushrooms, mayonnaise and garlic powder; set aside. Separate crescent rolls into 4 rectangles; press together perforations. Spread rolls with cream cheese; top with bacon mixture. Roll lengthwise; slice into one-inch pieces. Arrange on an ungreased baking sheet. Brush with egg white; sprinkle with poppy seed. Bake for 9 minutes at 375 degrees, until golden.
