I made a Cook’n song!

Believe it or not, the inspiration came from one of our own Cook’n family members.

Last month, Andrea Rhoda left the following comment at the bottom of one of our newsletter articles :

Cook’n in the morning,
Cook’n in the evening,
Cook’n at suppertime,
When Cook’n’s running smoothly,
It makes me feel just fine!

I thought that was so fun!

When I saw it, I replied:

Well...

I couldn’t get the idea out of my head.

I’m definitely not a musician. But the Cook’n Elves are amazing! Kathy and I spent the next few weeks experimenting with melodies, rewriting lyrics, trying different musical styles, and refining every line until we ended up with the song you just heard.

There seems to be no limit to what these Elves can help me do!

Now I’d love to hear what you think.

Should I keep adding imagery and turn it into a full music video?

Should I leave it just the way it is?

Or should I go back to writing recipe software?

Either way...I think I know what some of you are thinking right now...
