Readers Helping Readers
One of my favorite parts of putting together the Cook'n Newsletter is seeing readers share their own experiences and tips. After Alice Osborne's recent article about making non-stick cookware last longer, Carla Evans wrote in with some wonderful suggestions of her own.
"Alice, I enjoyed your article about caring for non-stick pans so they last longer. My all-time favorite in the last three years is a pan with a ceramic finish. They do not degrade like the non-stick finishes do, yet they are truly non-stick. Very easy to clean, and they don't seem to be as sensitive to high heat as other pans.
My favorite electric skillet is a Crux, which I've used for at least four years. My favorite everyday pans are Sensarte, which I purchased through Amazon. They are wonderful to use and so easy to clean. I chose the white pans with the light wood handles, and the kettles have glass lids with a small steam vent.
I have used Cook'n for years and it is my all-time favorite recipe software. I'm so happy with the changes made over the years. It is now better than ever."
Thank you, Carla! We love hearing recommendations like these because that's what makes our Cook'n family so special. We all learn from one another.
And thank you for your kind words about Cook'n. Our entire team works hard every day to make it better, so hearing that longtime users notice those improvements means a great deal to us.
