Two Upgrade Improvements Are On the Way
|
If you read this month’s featured article Wait… Upgrading to Premium Can Cost Only $12?, you probably noticed something interesting. Because Cook’n prorates your existing membership, upgrading to a higher plan can sometimes cost much less than you might expect. A lot of folks have already clicked over to check their custom upgrade price and have been pleasantly surprised. While working on that page, our developer Tyler discovered two situations where upgrading wasn’t as easy as it should be. So he’s currently putting the finishing touches on a couple improvements that should go live within the next week or so. Here’s what’s coming: 1. Monthly to Annual upgrades Right now, if you are on a monthly plan, the system doesn’t allow you to switch to the annual version directly. Tyler is adding logic that will make this possible so you can easily move to the lower annual rate. 2. Upgrades for mobile subscribers If you originally subscribed through the Cook’n mobile app using Apple or Google billing, upgrading from our website has been tricky. Tyler is adding a way for those members to upgrade from the web page as well. Both of these improvements should make upgrading much simpler for everyone. In the meantime, if you’re curious what it would cost to upgrade your plan, I recommend taking a quick look at the featured article and checking your custom upgrade price. Because Cook’n prorates your current membership, the number you see might surprise you.
Some folks have told us their upgrade price was less than the cost of lunch. Not bad for unlocking the full power of Cook’n. |
