In large mixing bowl, stir together cake mix, margarine, and egg. Press half of mixture in bottom of 9x13-inch pan. Bake at 350° for 10 minutes. Pour caramel topping over baked crust. Sprinkle with nuts and coconut. Spread remaining half of cake mixture on top. Bake at 350° for 20–25 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool thoroughly. Cut into bars.
