Click here to open the Household Contents Inventory Record (HCIR).

Print a blank copy of the HCIR. Then, take the time to go through every room, documenting all of your possessions. You should also collect the receipts for your valuable items at this time to keep with your HCIR in order to show proof of value should you ever need to make a claim.

Once you have completed your inventory enter your possessions into the HCIR and save it to your hard drive. Then, if you purchase or sell items, you can quickly edit the document and then reprint only the pages you need.

The last page of the document is for additional rooms not already listed. Print out as many copies as needed. You have the ability to add additional pages to the HCIR document.
