Serves: 5
Dissolve borax and warm water set aside. Melt glycerine, stearic acid, and bees wax over hot water in the same bowl you want to do your final beating in. Stir with a wooden spoon until melted and clear remove from heat. Add ammonia and stir until milky then add borax-water mixture. Beat with electric mixer until creamy and fluffy. Add food coloring and perfume, if desired. Store in tightly-covered containers such as baby food jars.
