Cook pasta in boiling water until al dente. Drain and keep hot. Sauté garlic in oil until golden. Reserve garlic and oil. In saucepan over medium heat, combine blue cheese, Parmesan cheese, and cream. Stir until cheeses are melted. Add crabmeat and heat through, about 2–3 minutes. Do not overcook crabmeat. Stir in reserved garlic and olive oil. Season with basil, oregano, salt and pepper. Toss sauce with hot pasta and let stand 5 minutes before serving.
Chef’s Note: If you cannot find Stiltson blue cheese, be careful to substitute only high quality blue cheese such as Midnight Blue brand blue cheese from Finlandia. Avoid using creamy blue cheese, as the sauce will turn out relatively bland. Do NOT substitute imitation crab for real crabmeat.
Fun Fact: Nevada has an estimated 314 mountain ranges—more than any other state—all of which have a northeast/southwest orientation. The tallest is the 13,145-foot Boundary Peak. The peak is entirely within the state of Nevada, although it is only about half a mile from the California border. Nevada contains 51 peaks above 9,000 feet. Mountains crisscross the state, and no matter where you travel, these natural Nevada wonders are visible.
