Best Grilled Tuna

Serves: 4

fresh chopped garlic to taste
1 medium bunch scallion, chopped
1 1/2 cups olive oil
1/2 cup Tamari (light soy)
juice of 4 lime
4 tuna steaks (the redder, the fresher)


Mix chopped garlic and scallions with olive oil, Tamari, and lime juice. Marinate tuna steaks in this for 2–3 hours in refrigerator, turning often. Grill tuna on very hot barbecue grill, basting with reserved marinade. Grill about 2–3 minutes each side for very rare, or about 4 minutes each side for medium.
