Flavored Oils

Serves: 10
Total Calories: 435


2 cups oils, any type
1/2 cup flavorful stuff, such as dry herbs, chiles, sun-dried tomatoes, dried mushrooms, or garlic, etc


Heat the oil until warm. Place the flavorful stuff in a sealable container. Pour the oil over the top, cover, and steep for at least 24 hours strain. Store, tightly covered, at room temperature in a cool, dark place for up to 2 months.
