Barbecue Meatball Kabobs

Ingredients

1 medium red onion, cut into 12 wedges
12 frozen fully cooked meatballs, thawed*
1 medium zucchini, cut into 12 1/2 inch thick slices
12 fresh mushrooms
1 orange or yellow bell pepper, cut into 12 pieces
1/3 cup honey barbecue sauce

Directions:

Heat gas, charcoal or electric grill.

Microwave onion wedges on high for 40 seconds to partially soften. Alternately place onion, meatballs, zucchini, mushrooms, and bell pepper onto six 12-inch metal skewers. Place kabobs on well-heated grill. Cover and grill for 15 minutes, turning kabobs every 2–3 minutes. During the last 3–5 minutes, brush barbeque sauce over the top to cover all sides. Cook until meatballs are heated and vegetables are done. Serve with additional barbeque sauce on the side.

*Can be found in the frozen meat section.
