Toffee Coffee

1 1/4 cups brown sugar
1 1/4 cups powdered non-dairy coffee creamer
3/4 cup instant coffee granules

6 ounces boiling water


Place 2 heaping teaspoons of the premixed jar ingredients in a cup or mug. Add 6 ounces boiling water, stir well, and enjoy.

1. Wash and thoroughly dry a 1-pint wide-mouth canning jar.

2. In a medium-size bowl, combine all of the jar ingredients listed above. PREMIXING IS REQUIRED FOR THIS RECIPE. Transfer the mixture to the canning jar.

3. Secure the lid, and decorate as desired (see The Basics: 06-Creating the Jars DECORATING THE JAR). Attach the instructions for making the coffee found in the Gift Jar Tags chapter.
