Fresh Broccoli Salad

1 bunch fresh broccoli, chopped
1/2 cup raisins
1/2 cup spanish peanuts
2 stalks celery, chopped
1 carrot, grated
1 tablespoon Parmesan cheese
1/2 jar real bacon bits
1 cup mayonnaise-type salad dressing
2 tablespoons sugar
1 tablespoon vinegar


Combine broccoli, raisins, peanuts, celery, carrot, Parmesan cheese, and bacon bits in bowl; toss to mix. Combine salad dressing, sugar, and vinegar in small bowl; mix until sugar dissolves. Pour over broccoli mixture. Marinate 12 hours or longer before serving.
