Beer Bread

Serves: 4
Total Calories: 355


3 cups flour
3 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 (12-fluid ounce) can beer, not non-al or light
1/2 cup grated Cheddar cheese


Preheat oven to 400°F or preheat Dutch oven or cast iron loaf pan. Mix flour, baking powder, salt, beer, and cheese in a large bowl and stir until well combined. Tip into large bread loaf pan that has been greased and floured or into cast iron pan lightly oiled. Bake for about 50-60 minutes until golden brown. Tip out and cool on wire rack.
