Garlic Bread- Italian

Serves: 8

1 loaf French bread or Sheepherder bread
1 cube butter
5 to 6 cloves garlic, minced
Grated cheese
Italian herb seasoning


Melt the butter in a small container. Add the minced garlic. Ladle the butter and garlic over the bread that has been cut and placed to fit in a Dutch oven. Sprinkle cheese and herbs onto the buttered bread. Place the lid on the Dutch Oven. Load the top of the lid with about 20-25 briquets to toast and brown the bread.
