Tuscan Green Beans

4 strips bacon cut in 1/2 -inch pieces
1/2 cup onion thinly sliced
1 (9-ounce) package frozen italian green bean
1/8 teaspoon black pepper


In a medium saucepan over medium heat, sauté bacon and onion for 2 to 3 minutes or until onion is golden and limp. Drain bacon and onion on paper towels discard drippings.

In the same pan, cook beans according to package directions drain. Return to medium heat, sprinkle beans with pepper. Stir in bacon and onion, heat through.
