Turkey Sausage Supper

Ingredients

1 pound turkey sausage cut in 1/4 -inch slices
4 potatoes medium, peeled and cut in 1-inch pieces
2 green bell peppers medium, cut in 1-inch pieces
1 onion medium, cut in 1-inch pieces
2/3 cup water
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Directions:

Place sausage, potatoes, green peppers, onion, water, salt and pepper in a 12-inch skillet. Over medium-high heat, bring to a boil reduce heat to low, cover and simmer for 20 minutes or until potatoes aretender, stirring occasionally.

"Any smoked sausage could be used. When in season, use one red pepper and one green pepper for a more colorful dish."
