Three O'Clock Munchies

Ingredients

1 cup chow mein noodles
1 cup toasted oat cereal
1 cup bite-size cereal square rice
1/2 cup peanut salted
1/4 cup butter or margarine ( 1/2 stick)
3/4 teaspoon cinnamon ground
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg ground
1/2 cup raisins

Directions:

1. Place chow mein noodles, oat cereal, rice cereal, and peanuts in a medium bowl. Set aside to use later.

2. Place butter or margarine in a 2-quart microwavable bowl or casserole.

3. Microwave, uncovered, at 100% power (700 watts) for 45 to 60 seconds or until melted. Remove from microwave oven.

4. Stir in cinnamon and nutmeg. Stir in cereal-nut mixture until butter mixture covers all the cereal-nut mixture.

5. Microwave, uncovered, at 100% power for 2 minutes. Remove from microwave oven. Stir in raisins.

6. Place two thicknesses of paper towels on a cookie sheet. Spread cereal mixture on paper towels and wait for 2 minutes to cool before eating.

7. Store any leftovers in a jar or container with a tight lid.
