Poaching Chicken In Microwave Oven

Ingredients

1 pound chicken nuggets
1/3 cup white wine or water
1 teaspoon chicken bouillon

Directions:

Remove skin from chicken if desired set chicken aside.

In a 9-inch microwavable pie plate, place wine and bouillon granules. Microwave, uncovered, at 100% power (700 watts) for 1 to 1 1/2 minutes or until very hot. Stir until granules are dissolved.

Arrange chicken in liquid with thickest portions toward outer edge. Spoon liquid over chicken. Cover with waxed paper.

Microwave at 100% power for 6 to 7 minutes or until no longer pink when cut along the bone, turning chicken over after 4 minutes. Cover with foil and let stand for 5 minutes. Uncover and cool in liquid.

When cool enough to handle, remove chicken from bones and cut or shred meat for desired use. Discard bones and skin. Use or cover and refrigerate up to 2 days.
