Orange-Chocolate Balls

Ingredients

3 cups powdered sugar
1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa
1 (12-ounce) package vanilla wafer finely crushed
1 (6-ounce) can frozen orange juice concentrate,frozen orange
1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3/4 cup pecans chopped
Chocolate and colored nonpareils, powdered sugar or finely chopped pecans

Directions:

At least 4 hours or up to 6 months before serving:

Sift powdered sugar and cocoa powder into a large mixer bowl. Stir in wafer crumbs until combined.

Add orange juice concentrate, butter or margarine, and vanilla. Beat at low speed until almost blended. Add nuts and beat until well blended.

Form mixture into 1-inch balls. Roll as desired in nonpareils, powdered sugar or additional pecans. Place in layers with waxed paper between in airtight containers. Chill thoroughly before serving. Store in the refrigerator up to 1 week or in the freezer up to 6 months. Can be served directly from the freezer.
