Making Cookie Ornaments

Directions:

* Brightly colored cookies make unique tree ornaments. To prepare the cookies for hanging, roll and cut the dough as desired, (Try Rolled Sugar Cookie dough.) Dip the end of a plastic drinking straw into flour and cut a hole near the top of the unbaked cookie. When the cookies are half baked, remove from oven and quickly enlarge the holes if necessary. Return cookies to the oven and finish baking. Cool and decorate. Thread a colorful piece of ribbon or yarn through each hole.
