Hobo Potatoes

Ingredients

4 russet potatoes medium cut in 3/8-inch slices (about 1 1/2 lb. total)
1 cup onion coarsely chopped
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon dried herbs of your choice, crushed (Italian herb seasoning, rosemary leaves or dill weed)
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
2 tablespoons butter or margarine, cut in pieces

Directions:

Tear off two 18-inch pieces of heavy duty foil. Place potatoes and onion in center of double thickness of foil. Sprinkle with salt, herbs, garlic powder and pepper toss lightly. Dot with butter or margarine. Bring two long sides of foil together over food fold edges over several times to seal, allowing space for steam. Fold short ends up and pinch together to seal securely.

Place packet on grill about 4 inches above medium-coals. Turning over several times, cook for 45 to 60 minutes or until potatoes are tender.
