Fast drying or acrylic spray paint in desired
Mixed nuts in shells
White household glue
Assorted fruit-flavored hard candies, candy-coated chocolate candies, jelly beans or gum drops
Clear acrylic spray

Directions:

At least 2 days before using:

Wash and dry jars and lids thoroughly. In a well-ventilated area, lightly spray lids with paint if desired let dry. Spray again if needed to cover any printing let dry completely.

Use nuts in their natural state or spray one side to match jar lid. Let dry, then turn and spray to coat entire surface. Let dry completely.

Using white household glue, glue individual nuts or candies to lid in an attractive arrangement, making a single layer or a mounded design let dry completely. For a protective finish, spray with clear acrylic spray let dry thoroughly.
