Chocolate Walnut Pie

Ingredients

3 eggs
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup light corn syrup
1/2 cup butter softened
1/4 cup cornstarch
1 cup walnuts chopped
1 (6-ounce) package semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 frozen pie crust unbaked, chilled

Directions:

At least 2 1/2 hours or up to 1 day before serving:

Preheat oven to 350°. In a small mixer bowl at low speed, beat eggs, sugar, corn syrup, butter and cornstarch until well blended. Stir in walnuts and chocolate chips.

Pour mixture into pie shell. Bake for 40 to 50 minutes or until puffy and set around edges. Cool on a wire rack. If making ahead, store in the refrigerator. Serve at room temperature.
